On July 26, 2019, the opening ceremony and first session of the "Elite Leadership Program for High-Growth Enterprises' High-Quality Development" were held with great solemnity at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The chairman, general manager, and senior management team of Risun Company—China's leading research and production base for cables and wire harnesses—attended the opening ceremony.

　　The ceremony was officially opened with the rousing and inspiring sound of the national anthem. Attending the event were leaders including Mr. Chen Lei, Deputy Secretary of the Rudong County Committee of the CPC; Mr. Bai Jie, Associate Dean of the School of Overseas Education at Shanghai Jiao Tong University; Mr. Teng Aichen, Deputy Director of the Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Xinghua City; and Mr. Tang Feng, Director of the Leading Innovators Research Institute.

　　Mr. Bai Jie, Vice Dean of the School of Overseas Education at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, delivered a speech at the ceremony. Dean Bai remarked that choosing to study at Jiao Tong University demonstrates great foresight and wisdom on the part of everyone involved. He outlined Jiao Tong University’s development journey, which has been driven by reform, as well as its unique and advanced educational philosophy. He expressed strong appreciation for the entrepreneurs’ decision to “return to study after years of battle,” and encouraged the participants to cherish this rare opportunity, gain valuable knowledge, achieve meaningful results, and come away with real accomplishments!

　　Mr. Tang Feng, Director of the Leading Innovators Research Institute, delivered a compelling speech titled “Creating Our Future.” Director Tang pointed out that success in life stems from the accumulation of three types of capital: network capital, psychological capital, and intellectual capital. Attending the “High-Growth Enterprise High-Quality Development Excellence Leadership Program” precisely provides an opportunity to achieve a breakthrough in all three of these capitals.

　　Mr. Tai Guofang, Chairman of Rishun Group, summarized the company’s business and production performance for 2018. Despite an opaque global economic environment marked by instability in 2018, Rishun Group, with the support of leadership at all levels and the concerted efforts of all employees, still achieved a remarkable growth rate—total output value increased by 27% compared to 2017. All of this was made possible by timely adjustments to our business strategy, thorough analysis and formulation of appropriate countermeasures, and a focus on transforming and upgrading enterprise management, all grounded in continuous improvement of processes and enhancement of product quality.

　　Ms. Wu Guilan, General Manager of Risun Group, stated that Risun already enjoys a certain level of recognition in the domestic sensor wire industry, with advantages such as a stable base of high-quality customers and a well-established certification system. However, 2019 was a year full of both opportunities and challenges, making it particularly crucial to formulate and implement the company’s strategic plans in a scientific and efficient manner. Participating in this “Elite Leadership Program for High-Growth Enterprises’ High-Quality Development” also provides an opportunity to learn from the pioneering management insights developed by top domestic and international scholars and expert teams—insights that have had a significant impact on Chinese management practices—and to explore strategic pathways for the high-quality development of high-growth enterprises.

Good news! Rishun Electric has been recognized on the national-level list. This time, all provinces collectively submitted applications to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for the national-level “Little Giant” enterprises specializing in niche fields and demonstrating outstanding innovation—over 50,000 companies in total. Ultimately, after rigorous review and public announcement, only slightly more than 1,500 companies were selected, yielding a success rate of just 3%. Kudos to Rishun!
